it was my first time using a proxy service. i was very nervous, as the item i wanted was from a very time-limited event of something very dear to me. the invoice came a little later than the estimation, but i asked about it (and some questions about an unrelated order). the conversation was a bit slow (probably because of timezones, i really don't mind at all) but very informative, and i got the invoice promptly after asking about it. everything past that went as expected, except that I got a surprise refund for the offline service fee since they wound up listing the items from the shop on the website.
really my only complaint is there wasn't any information about the offline service fee, just the fee per item (worded strangely, so i thought the fee per item would be higher than it was). It would be nice if they added to the custom order page information about that and about what they do if the item is at a paid event like mine was.
(the items were the blankets from the orv hidden scenario: constellation banquet popup event thing. the pictures i have show too much of my room and i'm not comfortable posting that but wanted to share that i did get the items and in good condition)
i don't know how they compare to other services but i'd trust using them again! :) i'm so grateful <3

A+ customer service. Harumio went above and beyond as a courier service and they have earned a lifetime customer! I bought cosmetics and snacks the last time I was visiting Korea and fell in love with them, but I was running low on product and I quickly realized those companies don't ship to the US. So, I looked online for a service that could order what I wanted in Korea and send what I ordered along to me in the United States. After a quick google and reddit search, I found a few courier companies (Harumio was one of them). I was a little worried because Harumio looked like a delivery service focused on collectables and fan items, but I liked how their website looked and decided to give them a try. I filled out the custom order form with lotions, face cosmetics, and snacks. They got back to me with a reasonable service fee and shipping fee and so I finalized the order. Before shipping out, they took photos of the items, emailed me to confirm that is what I wanted, and after receiving confirmation, they repackaged all my items into 1 package (which I think is great!). But now the drama starts. A day after they ship, my package arrives in the United States BUT the FDA decides to detain my package. I went back and forth with FedEx and the FDA, filling out forms and making phone calls, sending numerous emails for weeks. Even though this was not Harumio's fault and I didn't expect Harumio's customer service reps to be able to do anything to help, Harumio's customer reps still reached out and tried to keep updated on my situation. Then, I get notified that the FDA refused to allow my package to enter, so I resigned myself to accepting the loss of my products and my money. But a few days later, Harumio reached out and said they resent my items with a different carrier. This time there were no issues at all. The FDA did not detain it and I received it within a few days after receiving a shipping notification! When I opened it, everything I ordered was in it! So thank you so much Harumio for going above and beyond!

My experience has been mostly great, wonderful communication especially with how many questions I've had due to this being my first time using a proxy service. I also greatly appreciate the offline service because I know a lot of places would not he able to get the items I was looking for! My only issue with my experience has to be with the packaging, it wasn't as secure as I would like it to be and 2 albums had some damage with them but not that big of a deal to where they are unable to be put on display. One due to being a cardboard like sleeve and a bit larger than the rest or the albums got one of its corners bent since it was all packed together tightly in bubble wrap tightened with masking tape. The other album to recieve damages was cracked in the back in 1 spot pressure must have been put onto during travel and without the proper wrapping around it the crack occurred. Overall a great experience but the packaging could use some more care when dealing with certain items!
